Bio:
I am a second-year master’s student in Data Science in Health at UCLA, with a B.S. in Mathematics from The Ohio State University. My interests lie at the intersection of biostatistics, machine learning, and clinical decision-making. During my time at UCLA, I worked as a Research Assistant at the UCLA Medical AI Lab, where I focused on evaluating medical AI systems and building clinical data pipelines. I have also worked on projects involving large-scale clinical datasets, Bayesian modeling, and deep generative models across my coursework. I am currently preparing for a career in health data science and biostatistics, with a particular interest in roles that involve real-world impact — from patient risk prediction to regulatory and evidence-based applications in healthcare. Outside of academics, I enjoy connecting with people across disciplines and am always happy to talk about statistics, machine learning, or navigating careers in health data science.
