BS in Robotics, 2024
Herriot-Watt University — Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Bio:

I am a recent graduate from Heriot-Watt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, where I developed a strong foundation in programming, data analysis, and quantitative problem-solving. My academic training has equipped me with skills in Java, Python, C, and statistical tools such as SAS, and I have a growing interest in applying data-driven methods to real-world problems.

I gained research experience as a visiting scholar at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, where I worked on a project investigating the relationship between postpartum depression and postmenopausal mental disorders using UK Biobank data. In this role, I applied statistical methods including Cox regression, t-tests, and survival analysis, and contributed to drafting sections of a research paper. This experience strengthened my interest in biostatistics and healthcare data science.

In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in extracurricular activities, including organizing university events as part of the student union. I also completed an internship in a hospital setting, where I supported data management and COVID-19 vaccination operations, further enhancing my ability to work in fast-paced and collaborative environments.

Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, cycling, running, and hiking. I am particularly interested in exploring how statistical modeling and machine learning can be used to improve healthcare outcomes and decision-making.
